She is a Principal Specialist in the Division of Otolaryngology at Groote Schuur Hospital, University of Cape Town, South Africa.
Her main interest is endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery with a special focus on the endoscopic resection of both benign and malignant tumours of the sinuses and skull base. She currently runs the Karl Storz training programme in endoscopic sinus surgery for Sub-Saharan Africa, running workshops in other African countries. She has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals and has sat on numerous international panels on endoscopic sinus & skull base surgery.
